🚨U.S. MILITARY READY TO DEPLOY NATIONAL GUARD IN D.C.
The U.S. military is preparing to send hundreds of National Guard troops to Washington, D.C., pending a White House order, a U.S. official said. President Trump, criticizing Mayor Muriel Bowser over crime and homelessness, is expected to announce steps Monday to assert more control, after boosting federal law enforcement in the city. The troops would support safety and security, similar to their role in Los Angeles in June.
